Keep It Fresh

Hooray! It’s finally happened. Los Campesinos! (aka the band I didn’t shut up about for about 3 months) have announced the dates of their upcoming tour and it kicks off in…Dublin on the 2nd October! Recently signed to Wichita, the band have been kicking up a media riot with their eagerly awaited album starting to pick up momentum now that ALL the band have finished university. Expect world domination and an NME cover very soon.

Simple Kid has put out a three track EP which includes a live version of Serotonin. Download it for free here. Nice little update for the ipod.

Dublin rock four piece DC PAKT (their very good) have slapped up some new tracks on the myspace which will feature on the upcoming EP. Keep an eye out for that and live dates soon.

Office have released a new track from new album Plus/Minus Fairytale (thanks for the heads up Kieran). Have a wee listen.

Was pretty ace yesterday. Great bands, great company and great weather. Les Bien were on top form as always. Half way through their set, the duo were joined by a full band which included the ever cool and multi-talented Richie Egan. Hot Chip were even better than last time and played some new material from the next album. Pet Shop Shops Boys were…well words wouldn’t do it justice. They define the costume change.

I missed Vitalic cos he was 45mins late (delayed plane but I heard different) and I just wasn’t arsed hanging around. Garden Party has this weird vibe were the music comes second to just chilling in the festivals amazing venue. Kudos to all the DJ’s who played the mini walled garden were Chris Judge and co. were setup. Excellent music being played every-time myself and Sarah stopped by.
