Keep It Fresh

So I’m stuck in for the night, watching the 100 Pop Songs We Love To Hate (I love 100 shows) and the following track came in at No. 63. I suddenly got flashbacks from my youth and remembered how much the video freaked the shit out of me. I now share my fear with the world as a form of on-line therapy. They have no faces for God’s sake!

Ok, ok so this is a half-hearted entry due to the fact that it’s been knocking around my myspace blog for some time, yet the subject matter still enthrals me and I’m seeking a definitive playlist. Backstory is that I parked myself at home in solitary confinement for an entire day back in January and thus commenced a serious dose of déjà vu, annoyingly enough. So just to really mess with my own head I made a playlist. (read it after the jump). Warning: this may seriously wreck your head since all the songs are either insanely repetitive or their titles have repeating words in common (known as repetition in some cultures, I believe…)

What I noticed is many, shall we say, pre 80’s bands were fond fans of this saying the same thing more than the once. What does this say about our parents? Stupid? Gullible? Stupid? Gullible? Stupid? (…at least I entertain myself…)So that’s where I am right now. Any suggestions will be…considered.
